It’s Friday the 13th!

Yikes!  It’s Friday the 13th!  Don’t be paraskevidekatriaphobic! So appropriate for October while we look forward to Halloween and all things haunted and creepy.  What do we suggest to celebrate this season?  People ask me if the buildings of the Grape Arbor are haunted.  At 175 years old, I am sure there are many secrets and happenings in these buildings that we will never know–but they are only filled with good food and good times now.

If you WANT to find haunted places, check out this fun article! There are places there I had never heard of.

For a real time experience, try a Haunted history tour at the Brewerie in Erie. There are psychic readings available as well.

On the tamer side, the Erie Zoo each year puts on ZooBoo!  There are crafts, creepy animals..even a troll!

For some raunchy rollicking fun, go and see Rocky Horror Show at PACA in downtown Erie.  Audience participation is encouraged, with prop packages available for purchase.

For some active fun–try a hayride to a scavenger hunt with a corn maze at Burch Farms right here in North East!   Or go see pumpkins shot out of a cannon at Peek ‘n Peak Fall Fest.

Phew!  So much to do!   So little time!
